About the event
This year, Verulam Writers have written and published an anthology of short crime-themed stories set in St Albans and the surrounding area - and we're now ready to share the book with the residents of Hertfordshire (and beyond)!
The launch event is an opportunity to meet our members, and you'll also get to hear some of the authors as they read excerpts from their thrilling stories. We are also proud to support the Mayor of St Albans chosen charity - St Albans for Refugees - and 50% of net profit from each book sold will go to the charity, copies of which will be available for purchase on the night . We're also very pleased to confirm that both the Mayor of St Albans and representatives of the charity will also be attending on the night.
So if you're looking for an evening of exciting and unique entertainment - or you're a writer of any level or type and want to learn more about the group - come along (with or without your Sherlock Holmes deerstalker hat) and listen to some truly gripping crime stories.
Refreshments will be available during the evening. The entrance to St Albans Library can be found on Level 2 of The Maltings (opposite TK Maxx). Step free access is available through the car park.
